Welcome to the world of Tell Me More—a
captivating journey where the lines between
fiction and reality blur, crafted by Trebbiano.

Bertold Hugle (Hügle, German spelling), born, in Überlingen, Germany. Father Josef Hügle and Mother Paula Hügle own a Butcher Shop (Metzgerei) in Frickingen, Germany. Born the second of three sons, he attended Grade School in his hometown to graduation. I spent my childhood during and after the war in pristine countryside with farmland and apple orchards, which kept me in touch with nature. At age fourteen, an apprenticeship followed as a Butcher at their Father’s business.

In Tell Me More, we follow the life of a protagonist who embarks on a culinary career, starting from the humble beginnings of a family butcher business. Travel with him as he explores the world, learns the art of cooking, manages large-scale operations on land and at sea, and navigates the complexities of love and life. Each book in the series intertwines his personal and professional experiences, bringing forth a vibrant and unforgettable journey.

Readers of Tell Me More have praised Trebbiano’s ability to seamlessly blend real-life experiences with fiction, creating a deeply engaging and authentic story. From the captivating culinary adventures to the inspiring journey of personal growth, each book in the series has resonated with audiences who love stories of ambition, adventure, and the pursuit of dreams.

Tell Me More is a work of fiction in the interpersonal drama, slice of life, and intrigue genres, and it forms the opening novel in a continuing series. Penned by author Trebbiano, this charming novel encapsulates the journey of a budding chef as he navigates through the intricacies of the culinary world, from his humble beginnings to his rise in the ranks of prestigious hotels. Faced with challenges and adversaries, he seeks to prove himself while exploring foreign lands and encountering both mentors and foes.
Amidst his success and recognition, jealousy lurks, threatening to undo his achievements. Author Trebbiano has crafted a riveting read with a lot to offer, immersing me in the tumultuous journey of the protagonist from an aspiring chef to a seasoned professional. In the unique subgenre of workplace dramas, the strong narrative voice adds character, charm, and interest to skillfully portray the protagonist’s relentless pursuit of excellence against the backdrop of a cutthroat industry.
With each page, I found myself more and more emotionally invested. There is a good pace to the speech and thought presentation to allow us a deeper insight into the pressures and expectations of the industry on the climb to the top. However, the novel also delves into the darker aspects of success, highlighting the precarious balance between achievement and downfall with poignancy and relevance. Overall, I would not hesitate to recommend Tell Me More to fans of person-centered dramas with a lot of heart and drive, and I can’t wait to see what more the series brings.

It is often said that the line between reality and fiction can be very blurred. The world in which we live often influences how our fictional stories are told. From moments of loss leading to writing that serves as a means of therapy to cope with the trauma, to stagnation in our lives leading to a means of developing fantasy worlds in which we can escape, fiction can serve as a mirror of our own world, or a window into the world as we wish it to be.
In author Trebbiano’s Tales: Volume 1 the author takes readers on a lengthy yet engaging story that fuses fiction with the reality of his own life. Based upon events and stories from his own life and infuses with fiction, the story centers around a protagonist who takes on a career as a chef. From his humble yet stressful beginnings working in the family butcher business, to the beginning years traveling abroad to study and work as a chef, to young love, and much more, the author blends a lifetime of living and infusing flair to tell the story of growth and finding the path to peaceful coexist together with the human race.
The Author developed a truly engaging and memorable read. The tone and style of writing felt almost like sitting around with goof friends while one of them begins regaling the others with stories of their life that made it adventurous or enthralling. The multicultural and international settings and atmospheres the author used thought the book made the narrative feel alive and exciting, while the style of writing and natural balance and fiction and memoir the author used in his narrative was effortless and seamless, with the differences between the two to be indistinguishable. The characters where vibrant, and each of the protagonist’s experiences, both professional and romantically, were so vivid and enrapturing, readers will be hard pressed to put the book down.
This is a perfect read for those who enjoy narratives which blend elements of non-fiction with fiction, especially those that are quite lengthy and take on a more personal tone and style of writing. I found the author’s ranged from the memorable and relatable to the adventurous and the fascinating, giving readers a wide range of stories for which to absorb.
Perfectly written, thought-provoking, and thoroughly engaging, author Trebbiano’s Tales is a must-read novel. The story took on notes of a whirlwind adventure meets real-life drama and romance, while the elements of the protagonist’s life, especially the life of a chef, was fascinating to read about, and created a unique reading experience that few novels will be able to replicate.

“‘He knows all this, and it motivated him to take the initiative to get it all done. The shipyard was almost calling him crazy.'”
This work is set in travel and its concurrent happenings. A couple marries on a ship, and professional as well as personal experiences unfold. On a practical level, journeying comprises the characters’ work, while on other levels, it symbolizes everyone’s movement through life. The book is crowded with life lessons told through anecdotes of marriages, friendships, love affairs, births, deaths, separations, encounters with customers, and coming into ports in real and symbolic ways. The interaction of the social, professional, sexual, procreational, spiritual, conscientious, and lewd behaviors during the trips symbolize human behavior on the journey through life and its many possible outcomes. Every main character has a “gray area”—usually not defined as “good” or “bad,” but often morally ambiguous—that the author presents as practical or integral parts of their journey.
This massive work is a tour de force for a person who is full of stories and was encouraged to write them (albeit, as the author admits, in somewhat fictionalized form) by the people who have heard them. It was also an impressively difficult mission for the author since English is not his first language. During the COVID-19 “idleness,” he challenged himself to commit his stories to a manuscript in ways that would be more entertaining when fictionalized, as well as permit him to protect those involved by disguising them. He writes that it is his hope “to open minds … but … not endeavor to alter basic human values that benefit the peaceful coexistence of the human race, regardless of geographic locations.”
